Why do pages outside of my specified segment show under the All Pages, Behavior section?

When I am looking into a segment and drill down into All Pages within Behavior, the results show pages with URLs which aren't part of my specified segment. Therefore, I have to use the advanced search to filter the exact URLs I want.

Is there a reason for this?

A segment says get me any SESSIONS that match the expression. If you have a page URL, every SESSION that involved that page is included, which means every other page visited during the same sessions.

If you just want traffic to a specific page, you must use filters, not segments.
