This follows an earlier question I had on data held for Under 18s. My client is a College and so many of the visitors to their site will be under 18.

They do NOT wish to track under 18s, however just want to know whether the data in their Analytics account is useful or not.

How we understand it is that Analytics excludes data (session data) from anyone who it knows to be under 18. Therefore the client want to know what % of people Analytics knows the age of roughly; and subsequently excludes.

If it knows the age of 50% of users, the College may as well not use Analytics data to make decisions as lots of data will be excluded. However if it knows the age of just 5% of users it will be worthwhile using.

Does anyone know?
