Hi,

I was reading about (not set) in GA and found a doubt. Read below as..

"In Site Content : Landing Page Reports: The session has no page/screen view, but instead includes other hit types (e.g. an events or ecommerce hit type)."

In this i want little confuse about session has no page/screen view i.e how session is different from page view?

Hi Ranjeet,

A pageview is a type of hit. Other types of hits include events and ecommerce transactions.
A session is made up of multiple hits, and a user can have multiple sessions across a given time period.
In the above example, the (not set) indicates that, for the given session, a hit of a type other than pageview have been received.
