I just switched from http to https: and added some properties to my sitemap.  All of a sudden

 P-115g / FB_AD6_ is showing up in my google analytics as my top Source/Medium.  I am not running any Facebook ads and I googled this and got no results.  My site is https://hostessatheart.com.  Thank you!

Thanks for clarifying :-)
It could be installed in a number of places..

The code snippet you are looking for is the following:

<script>
  (function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){
  (i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o),
  m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m)
  })(window,document,'script','https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js','ga');

  ga('create', 'UA-62962232-1', 'auto');
  ga('send', 'pageview');

</script>

Places to look.. your active theme's header.php file
active theme's function.php file

Does the active theme have an admin option for adding scripts/code snippets of js to your site
Any other plugins installed that allow you to add script to your website or for adding analytics (jetpack for example)?

Hi :-)
I'm not sure what you mean by you've added some properties to your sitemap?
are you able to give further detail/information.. thanks :-)

Couple of issues.. there is tracking code for Property UA-62962232-1 added twice.. once via the Monster Insights plugin and another copy of different tracking code for same Property just before the Hotjar tracking code.
It should only be installed once, otherwise you end up with inflated data.
I would probably keep the one installed with the Monster Insights plugin, it offers some handy configuration options that manual installation doesnt offer out of the box.

There also seems to be a universal analytics tag for Property UA-48249245-1 setup via Google Tag Manager
Which is something to do with Collective Bias(?)

and tracking code for Property UA-75835832-23 .. not sure where that comes into the picture..maybe a 3rd party service you are using on your site eg widgets or similar.

You may have been getting that P-115g / FB_AD6_  data all along but with the site previously being http, it may have been tracked as direct/none.

Are you sure its not spam data? Do you have a View setup with a hostname filter and have you checked other dimensions regarding that traffic such as what country and language it is coming from and similar.

When I say that I added properties I just mean I verified https:wwwhostessatheart.com and https:hostessatheart.com

I just updated the monster insights plugin and enabled JS tracking and I have no idea how to delete the extra tracking code?  Advice please?
