Unique Pageviews calculation

Dear all,

Why doesn't unique pageviews number add up to the same number?

For example: I pulled unique pageviews for range from Feb 1st to18th, than pulled unique pageviews number from range Feb, 19th-28th. The number (Feb 1-18 + Feb 19-28) adds up to 2316 unique pageviews.

I selected range Feb 1-28th and the unique pageviews number is 3548.

Why is there a difference? Is the pageviews number suppose to differ based on how I select the date range? Why is there this gap?

Thank you for your help,

Jo

Hi Joanne,

You're right, unique pageviews number should add up to the same number.

Could you please double-check that, if you look at your Behaviour -> Site Content -> All Pages report?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
