Unexplained traffic to site not yet online

I recently added analytics tracking to the development version of a website. The site is currently not online and can only be accessed by my machine.

Or so I thought. The reports claim that there have been two visits from London (I am based in New York), both on Firefox (I use Chrome), both from different user IDs, and both for a total visit duration of 0.

Can anyone identify the source of this data? I'm flummoxed.

Sounds like possible spam data which is injected into the reports via a 3rd party, not from actual visits to the applicable website.
There is a very indepth article here: http://help.analyticsedge.com/spam-filter/definitive-guide-to-removing-google-analytics-spam/
It is definitely recommended reading in order to understand the different types of data spam and also how to create the filters that segments
that are necessary for combating the issue so as to not have it affect your reports
