Ultimate Guide to Understanding How Analytics Calculates Things
I am learning more about Google Analytics; and as I learn more, I am realizing that the true master is someone who understandings how GA calculates things. For instance, GA calculates users in the overview screen under Audience differently than it does in a custom report. A novice may not know the difference, and possibly make a mistake in calculating users.
With this in mind, I am wondering if anybody knows of any resources where I can go and learn more about all the calculations GA makes? Obviously this would be a large resource, but I'm thinking of a calculations manual or something like that. And I am aware of Analytics Academy, but this only touches on the basics.
Thanks in advance,
