UTM cross domain tracking issues

Hey guys,

Having some issues with not all UTMs being carried over from our our main domain ( to our subdomain (

Doens't look like it's coming from a particular traffic source but across them all. About 20% of our leads are missing UTMs and we want to work out hwy.

Any ideas on why this is happening and how we can fix it would be really helpful.

just to make sure: You do not need cross domain tracking like you imply in your subject line.


Have you excluded your domain in Referral exclusions in GA settings?


Does all traffic land on main domain?


Do you have multiple sources for that traffic? Is it from FB or some other platform or mixed?

To make bad day worse, spend it wishing for the impossible
