Twitter traffic issues

Hi !

On Shopify, I have in my report a certain number of people coming from twitter on my website, but it doesn't show the same on Google Analytics… there's like a huge difference. In the past, Google Analytics has already registered some traffic from twitter, so it can do it. I read the traffic goes to Referral, but why can it work sometimes ? how can I fix it ?

Thank you !

Hi,

The drop in numbers can be if users have opted out from tracking in their browsers/device.

As long as you are seeing twitter in teal time and actual reports it should be fine.

Thank you for your answer.

I did a try and went to the website by twitter and in the real time section, Google Analytics is unable to say the source of the visit… it says “no date available for this view“ and classify it in the direct source after… Is there a way to correct it and know how many visits come from twitter ?

Best regards,

Jade
