OK I opened a page on my website while looking at Real time view in Google Analytics. My own views are being counted ?! How do I stop it from doing this?  Thanks

Hi pemongillo,

You need to add a view filter so that you exclude your own hits. To do this, you will need to first look up your own public IP address (Google "what is my IP"), and then create an Exclude filter with for that specific IP.

Hope this helps.
