Tracking users to check if they visited the website before clicking through and affilaite link

Hello and thank you for reading my question. We have an affiliate program setup through a 3rd party network. Is there any method to set up a report to show if a user has had  a previous session on our website before they a referred from an affiliate link. We suspect that some of our users are visiting our website for the first session then leaving to locate a coupon code on a 3rd party website. In turn, coming back through an affiliate link and making the purchase. We'd be throwing away UN-needed commissions in this scenario of course. Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Jim

goto behavior > site content > all pages

add secondary dimension of 'previous page'

add an inbuilt segment of 'Returning Users'
