Tracking traffic from parent domain

Hi all,

I currently look after the website for a website with a domain like: subdomain.domain.com.  We get some referral traffic from domain.com.

As the subdomain is managed as a separate portal by a different team, we have totally separate Analytics properties for domain.com and subdomain.domain.com.

We do not see any referral traffic on the subdomain from domain.com, even though there is definitely traffic.

Can anyone suggest if there is a method of enabling this tracking of referrals?

Thank you

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

Please check if the properties have domain.com added to the referral exclusion list in the admin under Property -> Tracking info.
