Tracking specific keywords on analytics

We run an online magazine for SMEs in South Africa and we would like to track certain metrics of our articles via analytics. We are interested in knowing how to track the following:

 
1. The exact search word that was used to access an article.
2. Location of the tab to access the above

If the search is internal, then you need to configure the site search settings.

If it's external (like from Google) you are out of luck as most search queries on most engines are protected.

Location of the tab is a little vague. If you are talking about from which page the search is performed, this is available by default in GA. If you are looking a tab that was clicked on the site that does not result in any navigational clue in the URL then you will need to use event tracking.
