Tracking discrepancy between acquisition report and model comparison tool
I am having the following issue:
- When looking in Analytics at the acquisition report all traffic > source / medium, for the Google AdWords campaigns source / medium = google / cpc (which makes sense as we use auto tagging)
- However when I check the model comparison tool for the AdWords campaigns I have 2 different source /medium
For search: source / medium = google / cpc
For Display: source / medium = google / display
So for my display campaigns depending on which report I am checking the source / medium dimension is different
For example for my campaign named "Display_c1" the source medium is google / cpc in the acquisition report and google / display in the model comparison tool
How is that possible that the source / medium dimension change between 2 reports ?
Does someone already experience this ?
