Track iOS App Installs from Email Campaign with UTM
I am looking at using Campaign Measurement as part of the iOS SDK and had an example of tracking which I'd like to see whether it's possible.
If I set up an email campaign and included a link to the app store, with UTM parameters.
Next, if I ensured everything was set up correctly in my GA (turned on iOS tracking and app ID matches) and added [GAIDictionaryBuilder setCampaignParametersFromUrl:urlString], would I be able to see installs generated from my email campaign?
I can see some discussion suggesting that iOS UTM tracking is predominately for app advertising campaigns and that it is limited for non-ad sources such as email campaigns, social media links to app store and so on. I would appreciate some guidance on this.
