Tabbed Browsing - Google Analytics Implications
We are about to test something on our sites: on category pages, clicks on product links will open them in a new tab.
While it appears that this doesn't have an impact on GA sessions (it doesn't consider a new tab to be a new session), I was wondering if there are maybe some other implications to be aware of?
For instance, on page path reports: will everything be captured as without tabbed browsing (previous/next page)?
What about time on site (session duration)? and time on page?
