Hello Analytics Experts,

There is abruptly increase direct traffic of the website (https://www.indrealestates.com/). I have implemented Google Tag Manager recently. Is there any problem with tracking Code or something wrong with Tag Manager implementation?

Hi,

I had a quick look and it appears the same ID is being tracked twice on most pages.

1. install the chrome extension for Google tag assistant, this will point you in the right direction.

Best,

Adam

The homepage has only GTM implemented, which is correct, and everything appears to work as intended. This page https://www.indrealestates.com/location/residential-ludhiana/, however, has GTM and GA in the source code, as a result GA is firing twice. You should remove GA site wide and keep GTM only.

When did the spike in direct start? Does it sync with the GTM implementation?
