Session duration absent

Hi, I've been doing some tests recently on my mobile phone. Whereby I search for a page on our website, visit the page, stay on the page for a set amount of time and then close the page (without going anywhere else).

When I check analytics the next day, it records the session fine, but it sets the avg. session duration to 0 (when it should be 30 secs - 1 minute)

Any ideas why this may be the case?

Some additional information, the report shows the following for a test I did today:

Landing page: URL

City: my city

Sessions: 1

Pages/session: 2

Avg. Session Duration: 00:00:00

So I know I only visited 1 page and spent over 30 secs on the page when i did this test, so I don't understand why I'm getting these figures?

If you only visit one page, then GA has no second reference point - such as a page view - to measure your session duration.
