Search term exclusions exclude too much

Hi. If I understand search term exclusions right it would count all traffic as direct instead of organic in the following scenario:

Excluded word: Nike
Search Keyword: Nike
Search keywoards: Nike running shoes

If that is correct, is that a way around that? Since the last sentence "Nike running shoes" still has a purpose of being reported as organic.

Regards,

Carl

Hi Carl,
Yes you are right. You have to exclude each search term separately. It is not like that if you exclude Nike then all the search terms having nike will excluded.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
