Hello,

We have a members portal called www.ABC.com and when the user sign in, they go thru www.sts.ABC.com and once verified the traffic is redirected to www.ABC.com.

Hence there is traffic from both these hostnames. I have created filters to ignore this type of self referral traffic, yet I see sessions from sts.ABC.com when I search by Hostname.

The self referral filter helped such that there are no more referral traffic from sts.ABC.com but ingeneral when I check the traffic by hostname - I see a lot of traffic from sts.ABC.com.

My Question is whether I should ignore these traffic from hostname or domain sts.ABC.com or include it inorder to determine the actual number of session from our users to our member portal.

Let me know if I need to explain with examples and numbers to explain better my issue.

Thanks,

Navi
