Report changes data when I add a secondary dimension

Hello,

I created a custom report where my primary dimension is "Page". I get 145 sessions for a specific time frame. Most of these sessions come from a subdirectory "/resources/". Now if I add a secondary dimension like "Page Title", the total number of sessions actually go up to 180, all of those additional sessions coming into that "/resources/" directory.

Shouldn't the numbers be the same?

Thank you so much!

For a standard implementation, the numbers should be the same but without examining the Account, it's hard to say why.  I've seen this happen before but only when Google Analytics metrics were sampled.  I would examine the hostnames for incoming traffic, to make sure they're from your website and not bot traffic or something else.
