Problems creating custom report to remove subdirectory

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to remove a subdirectory that has quite a few pages from our analytics. By subdirectory I mean "/directory/example". Way too much of our traffic comes to this subdirectory and is throwing off the sites overall data.

I'm trying to create a unique report to remove the directory but I can't seem to figure out how to set up the Metrics Groups and Dimensions Drilldown to remove the subdirectory but still show me the standard stats (pg views, unique pgviews, avg time on page, BR etc).

How do I set up a custom report to remove my subdirectory but still show all the standard stats?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Sam,

would you like to remove only the /directory/example or all pages within the folder?

To remove the exact page /directory/example use:

To remove all pages inside that folder including the folder itself use:

This filter can also be applied in a Custom report.

Kind regards,
