Page Views, Users, Entrances, and Bounce Rate not tallying up

Hi all,

In Site Content, and Pages, I have a page that had 50 Page Views, 39 Users, 2 Entrances, and a 100% Bounce Rate.

This doesn't make sense to me because surely if 100% of users left that page after entering on it then the entrances should surely be 50?

Can anyone shed light on what might be happening here?

Thanks - Pete

Hi :-)
Its not 100% of users that left that page after entering on it.

There were 50 pageviews total.
2 were entrances.
Out of those 2 entrances.. both bounced = 100% bounce rate.

Bounce rate is calculated using entrances, not all pageviews of the page.

There is a great article here about bounce rate
