No historical data in GA API implementation

Hello everyone, 


I am working through an issue with my engineer to implement the Analytics Measurement API in an iFrame implementation we are running. The api is configured and we are receiving real-time data (Users and Events), but there is no historical data. 


We created a completely fresh view for this implementation, and there are no filters active anywhere on it. It has been around 5-6 days since the implementation was completed and testing showed active users, but no historical data shows up.


Is there something in the API or in the Analytics view that I'm missing?

Is the historical data present (data from the last 5-6 days) when you look at the UI i.e. the view itself? If it's there, then I would hazard a guess that your API query is incorrect.
