Hi there

I set up my website approx 4 months ago and have added some content to that site. At the same time, I also registered another site, however, at this stage, I have not added any content and this site is 'offline'.

I verified both sites with Google and setup tracking ID's for both sites at the same time as well.

The tracking ID for TangledLineArt is XXXXXX-2 and the tracking ID for WithFabricAndThreads is XXXXXX-3

I have installed 'Tag Assistant' to gauge Google Analytics progress. I initiated 'Tag Assistant' on the TangledLineArt site and it is showing that XXXXXX-2 is installed correctly but it is also showing that the tracking ID for WithFabricAndThreads is also installed on TangledLineArt.

When I checked the code in the back-end of TangledLineArt, as far as I can see, there is only the code for XXXXXX-2

How do I locate and delete the code for WithFabricAndThreads?

Many thanks

It Looks like you have two instances of GA code on your site. The first piece seems to be the ordinary GA sinppet:

(i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o),

ga('create', 'UA-86470987-2', 'auto');
ga('send', 'pageview');

The second one is set by MonsterInsights Plugin.

Consider using just one of these.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I understand that I have two GA codes on the Tangled Line Art Site. How do I delete the GA code that ends in -3 as that belongs to another website which I have yet to write.

I have deactivated and deleted "Monster Insights", however, Tag Manager is still telling me that I have two GA codes on on my site.
