More than 10 Rows by default on Scheduled report?

I have a custom report that gives me a breakdown of the referral sources for purchased made through my website. The report is e-mailed to me on a weekly basis. By default, the report is limited to 10 rows. While I can change the amount of rows when viewing the report manually, I can't find any way to get the scheduled e-mail version of the report to include any more than the first 10 rows. Is there any way around this?

Hi Dan,

As far as I am aware, when you set the email scheduling for custom reports, it will basically email you a reflection of what's on screen at the time you set the custom report.

So when it comes to rows, you should set the number of rows to the maximum (5000) and then go to Email, configure your report to send Weekly and then click "Send". You'll then want to go back in and delete the originally scheduled custom report. You can do this in Analytics by going to Admin > Personal Tools and Assets > Scheduled Emails.

Hope this helps.

Scott

Hi Dan,

Did that work for you? If not, were you able to find an alternate solution that works ?

Hi,

at the moment we are facing similar problems. Due to the problem with PDF-reports (they are cut off on the right side, so that you cannot read important data) we changed our scheduled reports to xls. When I change the number of rows from 10 to 25 and then click on "Share", it works that the xls-file contains 25 rows. But when I schedule the mailing, it arrives with only 10 rows. With PDF it always worked well but as I said the PDF version is facing other problems.

At the moment we are not able to use our scheduled report in the way we wanted and in the way we did until the beginning of March. In one version, important data is cut off, in the other version there are less rows than necessary.

Is there any help?

Best regards,

Manuela

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue as the above post.

This worked for me:

1. Go the "Scheduled Emails" section from the admin page:

2. Select the schedule you created

3. The url for that page will contain something like this - emailerTable.rowShow=10&m-content-emailerTable.rowStart=0&m

4. Change it to : emailerTable.rowShow=5000&m-content-emailerTable.rowStart=0&m

This should do the trick.
