Hello, I'm setting up custom dashboards in GA but the 'mobile (including tablet)' dimension claims it is being deprecated and cannot be imported into the dashboard. What does deprecated mean as I've found another answer online that says it will be discontinued in the future?

Surely Google can't be discontinuing this dimension as it still plays a big part in some industries.

Many thanks in advance,

Eoin

Hi Eion,

Only use of 'mobile (including tablet)' is to get the info whether the user is from Mobile or tablet device or not. You can use "Device Category" Dimension and choose Mobile or tablet to get that info.

Google is just getting rid of redundant dimension Smiley Happy
