Location - city breakdown.

Hi I was wondering if someone can help me. I have stats for an event on one of my clients websites. It is an event for downloading pdfs. We are trying to find out better details as to who is downloading the files as in a location. At the moment there is a large chunk of the downloads that says they are coming from Sydney but the client is saying that the members are outside of Sydney. How do I see the suburb  in sydney or more defined location rather than just Sydney as It is a large place.

Are those details possible to find out?

Hi TR,

mostly, user geolocation is derived from IP addresses. IPs, in turn, refer to internet entry points of companies or B2C Internet providers. So, generally, a user's position isn't available at a sub-urban level, if it all. You may see that by yourself using the tool [1] where you may check where Google Analytics thinks you are.

In Google Analytics reports you're just seeing service providers and cities.
