How to "Apply" a new Custom Attribution Model to an Analytics View?

Hi there,

I'd like to change the Analytics attribution model from the default "last click" Analytics one to an alternative model. I can see that under the View admin dashboard there's an option to create a new Custom Attribution model, which I have done and saved. How do I know if this model is being applied to my reports? Is it possible to be switched, and it will be applied to historic data in the View, or will it only start from the date the model is saved?

Currently the only way I can see the model in use is under the Model Comparison Tool, and that's just when comparing to other models...

Thanks for any help!

Hi Matt,

You can use your Custom Attribution Model currently only in the Model Comparison Tool. There's no way to apply this model to all the GA reports.

Hope this helps.
