How to enable site seatch?

Hi guys,

Again I'm here with big confusing query.

I want to enable site search tracking in google analytic but problem is that unable to apply query parameter like "q" and page path like search/.

Reason:

When users enter keyword in search box then it automatically suggest few url related to that term. if the keyword is not matching  with any url in website then site display nothing means data is not available .

Let me know how should I track keyword that user type in search box and after that url user are visiting.

Hi riyai,

that isn't actually a standard case for site-search implementation and a situation where the use of Google Tag Manager instead of using Google Analytics code directly may help you solve that problem. Your case should correspond to issue number 2 ('No search term in URL') in [1]. The use of Google Tag Manager has many benefits but surely is a project of itself with a large website.
