Help with a segment

Hi people,

I would like to compare the channels for my new buyers and returning buyers.

I want to create a segment of users who bought more than once, however, I don't want their first purchase included in my report.

Any suggestions how can I get to this segment?

Thank you in advance.

All the best,

Hi Lukáš K,

You may want to set a custom dimension when this occurs. That will essentially flag the user once they have a second transaction. You can call it whatever you like e.g. Repeat Purchaser etc. That will also help you get past the 91 day user window limitation.

In the interim you can use transactions >=2 on a user segment like this one but all transactions will be included.

In fact to do what you want in the UI; you may have to flag all subsequent transactions with an additional custom dimension so only those were included.

More on custom dimensions here.
