Help needed in exclude URL Query Parameters

Hi All,

My clients CMS has weird url parameter,

http://www. domain name /checkout_login.jsp?formURL=/uk/en/user/checkout_login.jsp?login=ABCD@ABC.COM&isForgotPassword=true&_requestid=470454&cm_sp=TOPNAV-_-Upper-Nav-_-Sign-In&_DARGS=/user/login.jsp.loginForm

I tried to exclude login in view settings, but the email address is still tracked in GA. I think it is because of double ? (question marks) in the url. Please help me fixing this issue.

Thanks,

Sura

Try a view filter to see if it works.

Filter type: custom

Advanced

Field A: Request URI: ^(.*)(\?.*)$

Output to: Request URI: $A1

Field A Required and Override Output Field must be ticked.

Test it first in a test View and if it does work, you can roll it to the main view.

Hi Suradha P,

The double question marks is likely the issue as GA is not able to properly parse it. You will need to change the second "?" into an ampersand, if the rewrite filter doesn't work.
