Got "No hits" notification in analytics

Recently I updated my Robots.txt file for my website thinkpondservices.com Immediately from the next day traffic becomes zero and analytics displayed notification No Hits. what should i have to do?

Hi @SAIRAM SWAMY A :-)
If you have accidently blocked googlebot from accessing your website, it might result in that notification as the diagnostic notifications rely on your site being crawled.. which is seperate functionality to analytics.

 

Incorrectly applied View filters can also result in data not being reported.. 

Or tracking for the wrong tracking id being authorized for plugins.
Current tracking is for tracking id UA-92322375-1

 

Normal reporting latency for google analytics is 24-48hrs.. if data has not appeared in the reports within about 48hrs, then it would be regarded as an issue. Data limits, will also sometimes result in reports only being updated once a day rather than providing updating of data throughout the day


Where a 3rd party plugin is being used, then issues need to be followed up with the plugin creator via their support channels.
