Hi I have recently checked the analytics report for a client of ours and it shows google syndication but we are not running any google ads - does anyone know why this would appear? Please see belowvince banner.pngvince banner2.png

Don't you run any other ad campaigns? I suppose this can happen if your ads are placed with DoubleClick for publishers tool and not properly tagged with utm parameters

We advertise on a third party site (self build.co.uk) that uses DoubleClick for publishers.

What is confusing is, that some clicks (7) are showing for this month from the self build.co.uk site but others, you suggest, are coming through as syndication? Do you know why this might be?

It could be the case if the ad itself is hosted with DC tools. So the referring domain would be some of the google domains but not build.com.

Consider using URL tagging for your campaigns and provide your partners with tagged link. https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/campaign-url-builder/
