Google Doc Analytics - Formulating a Timeline From Edits

Hi there!

I was hoping to see if anyone could help me explore a possibility within Google Docs. What I am trying to see is if there is a way to formulate a timeline or chart between either the edits from just one document or even multiple documents with one specific e-mail. To clarify, I know that Google already has a detailed edit history, which is great, but I am wondering if there is a tool to possibly show this in a time chart cohesively between time and date? As of now, I am manually calculating my time based on edits, but would like to see if there is an app that will show the edit history in a chart and calculates for me? If there is a way to do this based on one customer who I work with over multiple documents too that would be immensely helpful. Showing all of the edits worked on with multiple documents on one day. Let me know if this is at all possible, thank you so much!

Hi @Courtney F,

Actually Google drive stores all your edit history .So, It might be possible through app scripts or APIs.

You can check: https://ctrlq.org/code/20060-monitor-file-changes-in-drive
or post here : https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/docs

Hope this helps
Thanks,
