Google Analytics is showing my web business in California and I am in Texas

I noticed for the past few days that my online business is showing my personal views to my site coming from California, instead of Texas where I am located. In the past, it has showed correctly, but this has been going on for the past 4 days. My online IP address search shows correctly. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jill :-)
GA doesnt report IP information, it takes the IP info of visitors and passes it to 3rd parties to resolve the geolocation for reporting. This data is not always 100% correct, also depending on your ISP, your internet connection may get routed through other areas.

Im in NY but depending on where my ISP decides to route my connection through, i can also get logged as being in NJ, CT or PA on occasions
