Hello,

Yesterday we had a significant drop in GA traffic, we thought it would be an update from Google, anyway we checked Adsense impressions, it was nearly the same and we didn't have any drop in revenue. Somehow GA is not tracking AMP visits properly, we thought it would be from AMP plugin itself, but its not:

Any update from GA team?

AMP team member here. This was indeed a bug on Google's side. The issue has been confirmed and a fix is being rolled out. You should see things returning to normal.

Exact same issue with AMP tracking since yesterday, approx. 12pm PDT. Organic traffic suddenly tanked while our pages did not move in Google Search. We can reproduce the issue somehow by accessing an AMP page: it shows in the Google Analytics live ticker but disappears within 5 seconds and does not seem to get counted, while other pages behave normally.
