Google Analytics export Dashboard into excel

All

I created a custom report in shared dashboard in Google Analytics. The dashboard draws data from my website and all of that has been set-up in the back end. I want to be able to export the report, however, when I go to 'Export' option, it ONLY shows me a pdf export and not a csv/excel export.

I have edit rights to the google analytics account.

How can I export dashboard to excel?

Thanks

hi Vidushi,

google analytics does not allows to download dashboard as CSV. if you want a CSV file, you can download reports separately and combine them in CSV.

If you like to do your dashboarding in Excel, Power Pivot, Power BI, etc., I suggest you export your data from GA on a daily basis.

A lot of tools and connectors offers aggregated data export. If you need deep analysis, integration, etc., you must do a full hit-level data export.

E.g. https://www.scitylana.com/ will do this automated on a daily basis from a GA Free account.

You can use the built-in Query Explorer by Google at https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/query-explorer/ to get your data and then paste it into Excel Template you prepared. It is pretty arduous but it works. For custom Google Analytics Reports you can check https://reportifier.com. They are pretty comprehensive and professional looking, also free. You can't customize what data you are getting though, so what you get is what you get.

Greetings,
