Google Analytics data has vanished

On January 4th I set up Google Analytics on my organization's website, and we were monitoring the data a couple times a week. Then the other day I logged in and all of our data for the month of January has vanished and no new data is showing up. I'm the admin, and I didn't delete or manipulate anything beyond clicking on tabs and looking at how many views we had on different pages. Our data has totally disappeared.

What could be the cause of this, and how would I fix?

Ok, couple of basic things to check:

- your date range, is it correct?

- do you have a segment in place?

- has another admin made changes to the account?

- are you looking at the correct view?

- does the UA id number on the page match that of the property you are looking at?
