Hi guys,

I am a bit confused here with the numbers of page views for the same pages.

So under behaviour -> all pages: the numbers of page views is nearly doubled the numbers of the page views for the same page under /landing page report.

Why is it so much different for a page view report under the different tabs in Analytics?

Regards

See the definition for these. Just hover your mouse over the small question mark in the reports.

PageViews: Pageviews is the total number of pages viewed. Repeated views of a single page are counted.

Landing Pages: The pages through which visitors entered your site.

Hi Kelly,

Are you sure you're looking at pageviews in both cases? By default, the metric that appears in the landing page report is sessions instead of pageviews. In fact, my view of at least one of our sites is limited in such a way as to prevent me from seeing the pageviews metric in the landing pages report.

Hope that helps!
