Exporting a Report at the User ID level

I am trying to create a report that I can export giving me the data I captured in the User ID.

I need to track the Event Label which has been converted into the document name when the user click on it from the site.

I discovered this info - https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6339208?hl=en&ref_topic=6157800 but I still can't figure out how to report on the document name associated to the User ID clicking on it.

Thanks,

Cindy

Hi @Cindy D,

User ID is not exposed as a default dimension currently. You need to use a custom dimension to achieve this.

Alternatively, not the ideal solution but you can add the user id value in your event label.

I hope this helps

Regards

Hi Guney,

I appreciate you response.

I don't know how to create a custom dimension. Is there someplace you can direct me to where it shows me how to do this?

Thanks,

Cindy
