Experimenting with entire website (not just a single page)

Hello everyone,

I'd like to run an experiment across an entire website (one version of the entire website tested against another version of the entire website) - not just a single website page.

Is this possible to do with Google Analytics Content Experiments?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Liz

Hi Lizzie,

It sounds like you are trying to do A/B Split testing which can be done with Google Analytics Content Experiments. It is particularly popular when a user is experimenting with different conversions on their website.

You would need to go to your Reporting Sidebar in Google Analytics. Then select Behavior and then Experiments and then Create Experiment.

I can help with further steps if you need it but since your post was five days ago it may have already been resolved so I shall keep this reply relatively brief.

Best,

Shannon
