Event users vs. Non-event traffic

I have set up events in our homepage and other pages.

I know 50% of all sessions have used an event to get somewhere else in the site and I know where they are going.

What I do not know is how to analyze the other 50% traffic that did not click on an event. How do I exclude sessions with not events clicked, so I can analyze patterns?

Thanks!

It would appear that you can not as soon as you choose the Event Category as a Filter even if you say exclude where Evenat Category equals XX. The GA software filters the data to only include data that had an event and because you exclude it your numbers are zero. this would seem like a bug to me.
