ESP vs Google Analytics Tracking
I am seeing a large difference in the number of sessions being reported by Google Analytics (in the email channel) versus the number of unique clicks being reported by the Email Service Provider. At first I assumed that sessions being tracked by Google Analytics were unique to device (a person clicking on 4 different emails would be tracked as only 1 GA session, while they would be tracked as 4 unique clicks in the ESP), but according to GA that is not the case. Anyone have any insight here?
