Drop in visitors

Hello there, for the last couple of days there has been a massive drop in my site visits. I am running a facebook campaign in parallel and have quite many likes in the blog pages which means I must be getting incremental clicks but google analytics cant measure them. Can someone please help with that?

For context: my host is WP and I had to deactivate some plugins on Friday because of a problem with my facebook counts. Ever since my visits dropped in analytics.

Thanks

k

Hi Korina,

Just make sure you did not deactivate your tracking plugins as this will show 0 in Analytics, your tracking plugins are ones like:

* Yoast SEO/Wordpress SEO
* Tag Manager
* Google Analyticator
* Google Analytics

To check if the code is still working you can install one of the following Chrome extensions to check.

Ghostery : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ghostery/mlomiejdfkolichcflejclcbmpeaniij
Tag Assistant: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tag-assistant-by-google/kejbdjndbnbjgmefkgdddjlbokphdefk
Analytics DeBugger: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-analytics-debugger/jnkmfdileelhofjcijamephohjechhna

You can find your Facebook stats in Google Analytics by going to Acquisition > Social > Network Referrals
