Discrepancy with clicks vs pageviews

I'm tracking clicks through a 3rd party platform, and when I compare it to my pageviews in GA, I'm seeing large discrepancies. In some instances, page views are 2 - 3x the clicks reported. This is the same when I pull unique pageviews. Any idea what's causing the discrepancy? Thanks in advance!

Hi @Eleanor N :-)

When you say the pageviews are 2-3x the clicks.. are you meaning you are seeing more pageviews than clicks?
A pageview will register any time someone views or refreshes the page.

Are the numbers more inline when you compare the pageview Entrances to clicks
or if you compare the Behaviour > All Site Content > Landing pages report to the clicks

Thank you! No, it doesn't make a difference---the numbers are still similar to the pageviews, which is 2 - 3x the click volume unfortunately.
