Different numbers for organic traffic in different views. Why?

Hi,

Why are there always more organic searches in "Pages view" than in "Workflow view"?

(For same site same moment, of course.)

An example:

Pages view -

channel: 100

organic:88

direct: 8

social:4

Workflow view-

user:96

workflow:100

visited pages : 109

organic:80

........etc.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Peter,

You need to specify in the question, when you mention 'pages view' and 'workflow view' are you talking about Google Analytccs 'views'? If so, what settings are different in your Pages View compared to your Workflow view?

Hi Joshua,

I'm not an IT wizard, so my explanation might be not a technical point of view.

I use GADWB plugin(Google Analytics Dashboard for Wordpress) to grab data(by tracking code) from my Analytics account to display on my Wordpress admin dashboard. They are Google Analytics 'views', as the plugin is not generating any new data, just grab them from the GA account and makes them visible on my wordpress dashboard.  The settings are the same. In my sample above are daily data for workflow(sessions) and for pages.

I can't figure out why are there always higher numbers for organic search in a pages approach than by workflow(sessions)approach.
