Defining First Interaction - Google Analytics

I currently run a WordPress website that uses infinite scroll to load more articles as the user scrolls (There is a URL change as the user scrolls). While analyzing the user paths in Google Analytics, I noticed the tagging of "Starting Page", "1st Interaction", and "2nd Interaction". My question is, is the loading on another article (URL change) considered a "1st Interaction" or just when a user physically clicks.

If you're using an event to match your infinite scrolling / loading more content action, you will see other steps in that flow. Otherwise it's all going to be grouped inside the initial interaction (base pageview and additional content load)
