Default Channel Groupings are Combined. How?!

An analytics account that I just took over has Organic Paid and Direct all combined into a single channel/default channel group in the Default Channel Groupings view (see below).

 

 

I have never seen this before.

The client doesn't know how this exists.

And neither of us want it to exist.

 

How can I break these apart back and have them report independently?

Figured this out.
Someone must have changed the Channel Grouping in the View area for the profile that was overriding the system defaults.

They had all of these grouped together in a single channel grouping.

Figured it out.

Was set up in the admin view area for the profile in channel grouping & was a user created custom group overriding the system default.

Hi John,

I am glad you worked it out, I have no idea why someone would group all the Channels like this.... makes no sense (reminds me of those black hat SEO guys that used to rename all channels to "Organic" just to fool the client into thinking there was a huge increase in organic traffic.
