Data from Segments not matching reports

Hi,

We have segments set-up for particular pages with the condition of landing page. The data we see in the acquisition overview matches what we see in the behaviour > landing pages report.

However, if we set the segment up to just include the condition of page, this doesn't match up. For example, the bounce rate, etc. is dramatically lower.

Basically we want to segment our audience by people who have visited certain pages, because we want to see then how many of them have gone on to complete certain goals.

Thanks

If I'm reading this correctly, it makes perfect sense. Bounce rate is a session metric, so a segment that includes only sessions that landed on page 'x' is different than a segment that includes page 'x'. In the first one, page 'x' is always the first page of the session and so the session bounce rate is also the bounce rate of page 'x'. In the second one, the first page could be any page and the bounce rate is simply the bounce rate of those sessions that saw page 'x'.
